A New Girl in Town

Looks like Lincoln has been taken down a notch. We welcomed Ella Elaine to our family on June 11, 2007. She was 6 lbs. 15 oz., 20 inches tall, and is pretty cute as you'd expect by looking at her parents.

So far, Lincoln has remained optomistic that this is just a phase.

Ange is doing well, but as usual, food is appreciated. More by me than by her.

In other news, we went to Lagoon, and Lincoln rode the kiddy rides for the first time. His favorite ride seemed to be Kontiki, that one that looks like the Tidal Wave.

He was so interested in that one balloon game where you throw darts at balloons, that I plunked down 2 dollars to play it. They gave me 5 darts. The first 4 found thier mark, and then I asked Lincoln if he wanted to throw one. Without hesitating, he takes the dart and throws it, as the workers are scrambling to get out of the way. He popped a balloon, and his reward was an oversized foam die.

We also discovered that he is about an inch and a half short of riding on Rattlesnake Rapids, so Steph needs to make sure to bring her tall shoes when she comes down.

Finally, I have Platypi stats updated, but nowhere to post them just yet. I'm pretty sure Chad is going to comment on how I can do it on the family wiki, so I will give details. It is a somewhat hefty excel file, that I want people to be able to download. Now I will wait for the response. I would like to mention that right now, I lead the league in walks with 8. And I'm second in the league in triples with 3. I bet most of you didn't see that coming.

Oh and Happy Birthday Mike -- we'll beat Salt Lake Blues for you.

Here's my comment that you were expecting. :) I guess you already answered your own question. If you have any trouble creating a page or attaching a file, shoot me an email. Creating a new page will seem less intimidating if you follow the TWiki Tutorial.

I should have mentioned this first--Congratulations! The pictures that Steph sent out were very cute.

TWiki seemed a little sluggish when I tried, so I'll try later.

For a good one, only Millburn's scored in last night's game. That's right, for the 2nd straight time, we only scored 2 runs against the Blues. That would be one run for each time I got up to bat.

Bubs, I've scored half of our runs for our entire seasons worth of games against the Blues. Pretty excited to see the updated stats seeing as how I started dominating after you stopped updating them. Except for this season, because I suck this season. I hope I score half our runs against our next opponent, and that we score 20 runs.

I now have Platypi stats online. Click Platypi Page on the right and there will be a link to download Platypi stats. You do need Microsoft Excel in order to see the stats, so if you don't have that, I'm sorry.

Also, I only have stats for 5 games last summer. Hopefully I'll remember to ask Bill if he still has them on his computer.

So I take it you lost to SL Blues. Why does Platypi never show up when they are playing the Blues? Except for that one time when we destroyed them by 20 or something. Plus they're nerds...

And thanks for the B-day shout-out
